Vote to pass a bill that amends the definition of sex trafficking to include the facilitation of child prostitution.

Highlights:

• Specifies that an individual is guilty of sex trafficking of a child if the individual is 21 or older and intentionally advances or profits from prostitution of another individual who is less than 18 years old (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that an individual “advances prostitution” when he or she is not the individual in prostitution or a patron thereof, and has the intent to cause prostitution or facilitate the enterprise of prostitution (Sec. 1).

• Classifies sex trafficking of a child as a class B felony (Sec. 1).
