Highlights:

 

  • Requires state agencies submitting documentation used by the Office of the Budget for preparation of the Governor’s budget submission to place the original, unedited documents on the agency’s public website no later than the first Monday of November 2018 and every year thereafter (Sec. 1).

  • Establishes a Treasury Department Transparency Portal to show changes in government spending and revenue, going back at least 4 years from the current budget (Sec. 1).

  • Requires revenue and expenditure information for all legislative, judicial, independent, state-affiliated, and Commonwealth executive branch agencies to be publicly available on the portal (Sec. 1).
