  • Prohibits a blind individual from receiving payment from the blind pension fund if they obtain or renew a valid driver’s license or operate a motor vehicle with or without a valid driver’s license (Sec. A).

  • Exempts a blind individual from receiving payment from the blind pension fund if the sighted spouse’s annual income is equal to or greater than 500 percent of the federal poverty level for each state fiscal year (Sec. A).

  • Specifies that a blind individual that does not submit a vision test within 30 days of request will not be eligible to receive payment out of the blind pension fund (Sec. A).
