Vote to pass a bill that prohibits localities from enacting ordinances that are specific to certain breeds of dog.
Prohibits local units of government from enacting ordinances or policies that regulate a dog based on its breed or perceived breed (Sec. 1).
Specifies that this does not mean that local units of government can’t place restrictions or impose additional requirements on dogs or dog owners (Sec. 1).
Requires this to become effective 90 days after the bill is enacted (Sec. 1).
