Highlights:

 

  • Authorizes the Louisiana Department of Health to suspend or revoke the license of an outpatient abortion facility for (Sec. 1):

    • Intentionally falsifying or destroying patient files or records required by present law; or

    • Completing in advance of a patient’s appointment any portion of the required forms or records.

  • Repeals all provisions regarding standing by the district attorney, attorney general, or governor to seek a court order to close an outbation abortion facility (Sec. 1).
