  • Authorizes South Carolina public colleges and universities to use “anti-semitism relative to Israel and contemporary examples for anti-semitism” found in the fact sheet issued on June 8, 2010 when deciding if a violation by a student has occurred (Sec. 1).

  • Defines “contemporary examples of anti-semitism” in the fact sheet as any of the following, including, but not limited to (Sec. 1):

    • Stereotypical allegations and conspiracies about Jews power and controlling the media, economy, government, or other social institutions; or

    • Accusing Jews of being responsible for the real or imagined wrongdoing committed by a single Jewish person, group, or the state of Israel; or

    • Accusing Jews as a people, or Israel as a state, of inventing the Holocaust.

  • Defines “anti-semitism relative to Israel” as demonizing Israel in any of the following forms, including, but not limited to (Sec. 1):

    • Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis; or

    • Blaming Israel for all inter-religious or political tensions.
