  • Exempts caretakers of an individual under the age of 6 as well as caretakers of an individual with a disability who needs their full-time care (Sec. 107A).  

  • Exempts an individual who has been incarcerated within the past 6 months as well as anyone under the age of 21 who has previously been in foster care (Sec. 107A).

  • Requires the DHHS to implement these requirements by October 1, 2018, and to give 90 days' advance notice to recipients (Sec. 107A).  

  • Specifies that meeting these requirements may count towards meeting the work requirements of other public assistance programs (Sec. 107A).
