Vote to pass a bill that amends the conditions eligible for marijuana treatment.
Amends the definition of “debilitating medical condition” that is eligible for marijuana treatment to include glaucoma, Parkinson’s disease, severe muscle spasms, intractable pain, and post-traumatic stress disorder (Sec. 1).
Defines “intractable pain” as a state in which the cause of pain cannot be removed or otherwise treated and pain so chronic and severe as to otherwise warrant an opiate prescription (Sec. 1).
Specifies that employers and their worker’s compensation insurers are not obligated to pay for medical marijuana claims (Sec. 1).
