Vote to pass a bill that amends various state gun laws.

Highlights:

• Prohibits the sale of a firearm to an individual under the age of 21 and specifies a punishment of up to a year in prison and a fine not to exceed $1,000 for any person found to have violated this law (Sec. 7).

• Prohibits the sale or possession of bump-fire stocks that are used to be attached to a semi automatic firearm and intended to increase the rate of achievable fire (Sec. 9).

• Prohibits the manufacture, sale, or possession of large capacity ammunition feeding devices within the state of Vermont (Sec. 8).

• Defines “large capacity ammunition feeding device” as a magazine or similar device with a capacity of 10 or more rounds for a long gun and 15 or more rounds for a handgun (Sec. 8).
