Title: BRICK Act of 2017
A vote to pass a bill that authorizes a delay in the date by which brick makers and residential wood heaters have to comply with emission standards of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Extends each compliance date by 60 days after the date in which notice of the promulgation of the final rule appears in the Federal Register (Sec. 2).
Defines “final rules” as any rule to address the national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants of entities that manufacture bricks or structural clay products (Sec. 2).
Defines “compliance date” as the date in which any individual, state, local or tribal government is first required to comply with the emission standards (Sec. 2).
