Title: Appropriates Supplemental Funds for Fiscal Year 2017-2018
Vote to pass a bill that appropriates supplemental funds for fiscal year 2017-2018, including a statewide rape kit tracking database.
Appropriates $4 million for a uniform statewide sexual assault evidence kit tracking system (Sec. 157).
Establishes the sexual assault evidence tracking fund within the Department of Treasury and specifies that $3.2 million of funds appropriated shall be deposited in such fund (Sec. 1451).
Requires the commission on law enforcement standards to allocate $20,000 of funds appropriated for standards and training to internet-based training seminars on the uniform statewide sexual assault evidence kit tracking system (Sec. 1703).
Appropriates $700,000 for genomic opioid research (Sec. 157).
Specifies that funds appropriated for genomic opioid research shall be released to a community mental health program in a county with a population between 245,000 and 255,000 (Sec. 1408).
