Vote to pass a bill that repeals the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) established by the Affordable Care Act, effective immediately.

Highlights:

• Repeals the provisions that authorize IPAB to modify Medicare spending when spending targets set by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) are not met (Sec. 2).

• Repeals provisions that authorize IPAB to conduct its proceedings outside of the public domain, as well as its exemption from judicial review (Sec. 2).

• Repeals a provision that authorizes the Health and Human Services Secretary to modify Medicare spending when IPAB is unable to (Sec. 2).
