Title: Amends Voter-Passed Marijuana Law
Vote to pass a bill that amends the state's voter-passed marijuana law.
Authorizes a registered dispensary of medical use marijuana to convert from a non-profit corporation into a for-profit domestic business (Sec. 74).
Authorizes certain small-scale businesses and limited liabilities that are licensed to cultivate, manufacture, and package marijuana to deliver marijuana to marijuana establishments but not to consumers (Sec. 20).
Authorizes cities and towns in which a majority of residents voted to legalize marijuana in the 2016 election ballot to limit the number and types of marijuana establishments from operating in their area through a ballot referendum (Secs. 23-27).
Requires the Cannabis Control Commission to have regulations and protocols in place for the issuance of marijuana licenses by March 15, 2018 (Sec. 57).
Requires the Cannabis Control Commission to begin receiving applications for marijuana licenses on April 1, 2018 (Sec. 57).
Requires the Cannabis Control Commission to wait until June 1, 2018 to begin issuing marijuana dispensary licenses (Sec. 58).
