Vote to pass a bill authorizing national defense spending for the fiscal year 2018.
Appropriates $17.44 billion to the Army for purchases, including but not limited to (Title I, Sec 101):
$4.15 billion for aircraft;
$2.52 billion for missiles; and
$2.42 billion for weapons and tracked combat vehicles.
Appropriates $31.6 billion for the Navy and Marine Corps for purchases, including but not limited to (Title I, Sec. 103):
$19.9 billion for shipbuilding and conversion.
$15.05 billion for aircraft; and
$3.42 billion for weapons, including missiles and torpedoes.
Appropriates $42.08 billion to the Air Force for purchases, including but not limited to (Title I, Sec 104):
$15.43 billion for aircraft;
$3.37 billion for space procurement; and
$2.3 billion for missiles.
Appropriates a total of $82.72 billion to various agencies in the Department of Defense for research, developments, tests, and evaluation (Title II, Sec. 201).
