Highlights:

• Prohibits the removal, alteration, or destruction of any war memorial, including plaques, statues, or monuments. (Sec. 2):

• Prohibits the removal, alteration, relocation, or destruction of any public memorial, including statues, monuments, parks, schools, or streets, dedicated in the memory of or named for a military figure, event, or unit (Sec. 2).

• Authorizes a city or county government to take action otherwise prohibited in this act if a proposition authorizing such action is approved by a majority of voters in an election (Sec. 2).
