Vote to pass a bill to prevent a sexual assault victim's past sexual activity from being used as evidence in court, effective 60 days after its passage.

Highlights:

• Prohibits the use of proffered evidence, such as the sexual activity of the victim, from being used in the testimony of sexual assault cases (Sec. 1).

• Defines “sexual activity” as any conduct or behavior relating to the sexual activity of the victim including but not limited to previous or subsequent experiences of (Sec. 1):

• Sexual penetration or sexual contact;

• Sexual predisposition;

• Thoughts or expressions related to sexual issues;

• Use of contraceptives;

• Sexual activities reflected in medical and counseling records;

• Living arrangements; and
