Vote to pass a bill that appropriates a $100 million, 2-year construction fund for both district and charter schools.

Highlights:

• Specifies that a charter holder is entitled to receive funding per student in average daily attendance in an amount equal to the guaranteed level of state and local funds per student per cent of tax effort multiplied by the lesser of (Sec. 1):

• The state average interest and sinking fund tax rate imposed by school districts for the current year; or

• A rate that would result in the total appropriation under this subsection to be $100 million which is to be split equally between charter schools and school districts.
