Title: Revises Florida Retirement System

Vote to adopt a conference report that passes a bill that establishes provisions regarding pension plans and Florida's retirement system, effective July 1, 2018.

Highlights:

  • Establishes a comprehensive package of health insurance and retirement benefits and a personnel system for state employees (Secs. 1-7)

  • Requires a reduction in pension benefits for judges beginning on July 1, 2017 (Sec. 15).
