Vote to pass a bill that requires union members to vote every 3 years to renew the union's certification, effective July 1, 2016.

Highlights:

• Requires professional employee organizations to hold triennial elections instead of annual elections to be held between January 1 and April 1 (Sec. 1).

• A new professional employees organization may be recognized if it is not similar to or affiliated with an organization that lost its recognition as the exclusive representative within the immediately preceding 36 months (Sec. 1).

• Authorizes professional employees to cast ballots for a period of 14 days from the start of an election (Sec. 1).

• Amends sections with 12-month requirements to have 36-month requirements (Sec. 1, 3 & 5).
