Repeals the requirement that 2 individuals seeking to get married obtain a marriage license (Sec. 2).
Requires 2 individuals seeking to get married to submit certain affidavits, forms and data to the office of the judge of probate to constitute a legal record of marriage (Sec. 2).
Requires each marriage filed with the probate office to be filed and registered with the Office of Vital Statistics (Sec. 1).
Requires a judge of probate to record an out-of-state marriage certificate, which provides evidence of validity (Sec. 2).
