Highlights:

  • Requires a public employer to provide up to 12 weeks of family care benefits to his or her employees (Secs. 9 & 13).
  • Specifies that a disabled employee is entitled to two-thirds of his or her average weekly wage during his or her leave, provided the wage does not exceed the following amounts (Sec. 8):
    • In 2016, 35 percent of the statewide average weekly wage;
    • In 2017, 40 percent of the statewide average weekly wage;
    • In 2018, 45 percent of the statewide average weekly wage; and
