Vote to pass a bill that authorizes the state government to regulate extraction, production, and processing of oil and gas.

Highlights:

• Authorizes the state government to regulate the conservation, extraction, production, processing, and storage of oil and gas, except on tribal lands (Sec. 1).

• Authorizes the Oil Conservation Division of the Energy and Natural Resources Department and the Oil Conservation Commission to have exclusive jurisdiction over oil and gas, including jurisdiction over the following areas (Sec. 1):
• Permitting the siting of oil or gas wells and ancillary facilities;
• Drilling and completion of oil or gas operations; and
• Producing, processing, and storing of oil or gas.
