Vote to pass a bill that prohibits restrictions on plastic bags and other auxiliary containers.

Highlights:

• Prohibits a city from imposing any fee, tax or sales regulation on auxiliary containers at retail stores, manufacturing establishments, or distribution centers (Sec. 1).

• Defines an auxiliary container as any reusable or disposable bag, box, cup, or bottle made from cloth, paper, plastic or other similar material designed to transport merchandise or food between facilities (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that no provision in this bill restricts any county or municipal curbside recycling program (Sec. 1).
