Vote to concur with House amendments and pass a bill that authorizes death penalty execution by firing squad in certain circumstances, effective July 1, 2015.
Highlights:
- Authorizes the use of a firing squad as a means of executing a death penalty sentence, after administering anesthesia and rendering the individual unconscious, in the following circumstances (Sec. 1):
- If the existing method of execution by lethal injection is deemed unconstitutional; or
