Vote to pass a bill that authorizes certain health insurance issuers to continue to offer for sale a group market coverage plan until December 31, 2018.

  • Authorizes a health insurance issuer who has a coverage plan in the group market in 2013 to continue to offer such plan for sale, outside of an Exchange established under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) of 2010, through December 31, 2018 (Sec. 2).
  • Prohibits a group health plan that provides health benefits through health insurance coverage, which is made available for sale under the provisions of this bill, from being treated as not complying with the PPACA (Sec. 2).
