Vote to pass a bill that prohibits workplace discrimination based on an employee's reproductive health decision making.

Highlights:

• Prohibits an employer from discriminating against an employee based on the employee’s or the employee’s dependent’s reproductive health decision making, including, but not limited to, the decision to use a particular drug, device, or medical service or on the basis of an employer’s personal beliefs about such services (Sec. 1). 

• Prohibits an employer from accessing an employee’s personal information regarding the employee’s or the employee’s dependent’s reproductive health decisions without the employee’s consent (Sec. 1). 

• Authorizes an employee to bring a civil action against an employer alleged to have violated the provisions of this bill (Sec. 1).

• Prohibits an employer from retaliating against an employee who makes a complaint, threatens to make a complaint, or testifies against the employer in regards to a violation of the provisions of this bill (Sec. 1).
