Title: Prohibits The Use Of Tanning Facilities By Minors

Vote to pass a bill that prohibits minors from using artificial tanning devices, effective July 1, 2013.
- Prohibits a minor under the age of 15 from using an artificial tanning device unless the minor has a written prescription from a physician (Sec. 1).
- Prohibits a minor between the ages of 15 and 17 from using an artificial tanning device unless the minor’s parent or legal guardian is present and signs a written consent form, or the minor has a written prescription from a physician (Sec. 1).
- Specifies that a signed consent form is valid for 6 months unless the minor’s consenting parent or legal guardian withdraws consent (Sec. 1).
