Title: Amends Bison Management Laws

Vote to pass a bill that amends certain bison management laws and establishes a license for the hunting of bison and wild buffalo.
Highlights:
- Authorizes an individual who is 12 years of age or older to purchase a license and hunt wild buffalo or bison between November 15 and April 30 (Sec. 9).
- Establishes a license fee of $125 for Montana residents and a fee of $750 for nonresidents to hunt wild buffalo and bison (Sec. 9).
- Prohibits the Department of Livestock from releasing or transplanting wild buffalo or bison onto the national bison range at Moiese, Montana, unless the animals originate from a herd in Yellowstone National Park (Sec. 3).
- Requires the Department of Livestock to provide 50 wild buffalo licenses to individuals of designated tribes in the state (Sec. 10).
- Requires the Montana Secretary of State to send a copy of this act to each tribal government located in the state (Sec. 11).
