Title: Requires Drug Testing for Unemployment Benefits

Vote to pass a bill that requires drug testing for unemployment benefits.
Highlights:
- Requires an individual who applies for and receives unemployment benefits to submit to and pass a random drug screening (Secs. 1 & 2).
- Specifies that the Department of Workforce Services will administer a drug test before the first and thirteenth weekly benefits payments to a random sample of individuals who apply for and receive unemployment benefits (Secs. 1 & 2).
- Prohibits an individual who refuses to submit to a random drug test or tests positive for prohibited drugs from receiving unemployment benefits (Sec. 1).
- Prohibits an individual’s drug test results from being released or used as evidence for criminal prosecution (Sec. 1).
