  • Forbids the use of the State House grounds for the following purposes (Sec. 1):
    • Camping;
    • Sleeping;
    • Building a campfire;
    • Storing personal belongings in preparation for camping;
    • Erecting tents or other structures used for outdoor living;
    • Digging without a permit; and 
    • Cooking.
  • Defines “State House grounds” as the steps of the State House building and the outside area of the capitol complex (Sec. 1).
  • Specifies that these actions are forbidden regardless of the intent of the participant or the other activities in which the participant is engaged (Sec. 1).
