Title: Requires Photo Identification to Vote

Vote to override a veto of a bill that requires valid photo identification prior to voting.

Highlights:

  • Requires voters to present valid photo identification before voting, effective June 27, 2012 (Sec. 1).
  • Specifies that valid photo identification, includes, but is not limited to, the following (Sec. 1):
    •  A driver's license from any state;
    •  An identification card issued by the New Hampshire director of motor vehicles;

    •  A United States passport.

    • An armed services identification card;
