Vote to pass a bill that requires all applicants for unemployment benefits to submit to a drug test.
- Requires all applicants for unemployment benefits to submit to a drug test (Sec. 1).
- Requires all applicants to pay for their own drug tests (Sec. 1).
- Prohibits individuals who fail a drug test from receiving unemployment benefits for 30 days, after which they may reapply for unemployment benefits and take a new drug test (Sec. 1).
- Prohibits individuals who fail a subsequent drug test from receiving unemployment benefits for 6 months, after which they may reapply for unemployment benefits and take a new drug test (Sec. 1).
- Requires individuals who have failed a drug test but have successfully reapplied for unemployment benefits to submit to random drug tests for 6 consecutive months at their own expense (Sec. 1).
