Vote Smart's Synopsis:

Vote to pass a bill that allows school districts throughout Oklahoma to offer 1-year teaching internships to people possessing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and pass the general education and subject competency exam. Upon the completion of the internship and satisfactory completion of all other requirements established by the State Board of Education the district may offer that person the opportunity to receive standard certification, with the provision that their performance be reviewed every three years to ensure the effectiveness of the internship program.
