• Defines "food containing artificial trans fat" as food that includes vegetable shortening, margarine, or any kind of partially hydrogenated vegetable oil (Sec. 5).

• Defines a "food facility" as an entity that prepares, packages, serves, vends, or otherwise provides food for human consumption at the retail level (Sec. 5).

• Exempts from the ban the following (Secs. 5 & 15):
