Vote to pass a bill that allows insurance policies to be purchased across state lines.

Highlights:

• Establishes that any insurer selling an insurance policy across state lines, and any policy approved pursuant to this article, shall satisfy standards set forth by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and any regulation promulgated by the Commissioner that is not inconsistent with such NAIC standards (Sec. 1).

• Establishes that the commissioner shall adopt rules and regulations necessary to implement this article, which shall include, but shall not be limited to, standard form for the disclosure of benefits (Sec. 1).
