Vote to pass a bill that amends existing statutes relating to city or town annexation.

Highlights:

  • Authorizes a city or town in counties with populations larger than 350,000 to annex any territory that it borders on at least 3 sides if the landowner has applied to the federal government to take ownership of the territory or to hold it in trust (Sec. 1).
