Vote to pass a bill that appropriates funds for fiscal years 2011-2012.
- Reduces the appropriations to the state health care authority from $407.48 million to $373.21 million and specifies the following (Sec. 213):
- After February 28, 2011, the authority shall restrict enrollment in the basic health plan to persons who qualify for services under the Medicaid demonstration project number; and
- After April 30, 2011, the authority shall discontinue the basic health plan.
- Reduces appropriations of the superintendent of public instruction from $4.94 billion in 2010 to $4.87 billion for 2011 (Sec. 502).
