Vote to pass a bill that makes the records of the office of the governor public.

-Establishes that the records of the office of the governor be public records (Sec. 1). -Specifies that the records relating to the executive deliberations of the governor and intra-office communications of the governor and his staff may be privileged from disclosure (Sec. 1). -Specifies that any record pertaining to the schedule of the governor, that if released might impair the safety of the governor or his family, may be held confidential, but must be released seven days after the event (Sec. 1). -Requires the governor and his internal staff to preserve all records and transfer them to the archives division of the secretary of state after his term (Sec. 1).
