Vote to concur with House amendments and pass a bill that issues various amendments to statutes regulating alcohol, including legalizing the sale of alcohol on election day.
-Specifies that alcohol can be sold on election days in election precincts (Sec. 2). -Specifies that bars can be open on Sunday from 7am-3am the following day (Sec. 4). -Authorizes breweries to sell beer for carryout on Sunday, if the buyers buy 1 container that is not more than 576 ounces and the beer can only be sold at the address where the brewer's permit is issued (Sec. 6). -Authorizes an owner of an indoor theater to apply for an alcoholic beverage permit if the theater meets the following conditions (Sec. 8):
