Peters Statement on Senator Harry Reid's Retirement

U.S. Senator Gary Peters (MI) released the following statement on the announcement of Senator Harry Reid's retirement:

"Senator Harry Reid has been a champion for the people of Nevada throughout his long career in public service. Whether it was working nights as a Capitol police officer to support his family, or shepherding historic legislation through the Senate, Senator Reid has shown true leadership and dedication that will be remembered for years to come. I want to thank Senator Reid for his tremendous public service to the state of Nevada and our country. I wish him and his family the best of luck as he embarks on his next steps."
