As a school teacher, Ashley has dedicated her life to ensuring the best education for children in DeSoto County. Because of dedicated parents and teachers, DeSoto County has a wonderful school district, which is a key factor in the growth and stability of our county. As a legislator, Ashley will work to ensure our teachers get the funding and support our children need and deserve.
Ashley will work to repeal Common Core standards and replace them with strong, appropriate Mississippi standards cooperatively designed by Mississippi teachers and parents, not bureaucrats in Washington. She will fight to return control to parents, freedom to teachers, and move away from over-burdensome testing.
