Thompson Announces Federal Aviation Administration Grant for Bradford Regional Airport

Today, U.S. Representative Glenn "GT' Thompson (PA-05) announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded a $150,000 federal grant to the Bradford Regional Airport in McKean County, Pennsylvania.

"Access to the national air transportation system is an essential element in supporting our local economy," said Thompson. "This federal investment will allow the airport to continue to provide safe and reliable transportation options to our community and the surrounding area."

"The Bradford Regional Airport Authority is grateful for the continued support from Congressman Thompson. This grant funding will allow for the rehabilitation of an important element of our airfield infrastructure thereby providing a safe and well maintained facility for the flying public," said Alicia Dankesreiter, Airport Manager, Bradford Regional Airport.

This project will fund milling and overlay to rehabilitate approximately 600 feet of existing Taxiway D pavement that has reached the end of its useful life.
