Governor Asa Hutchinson has announced his appointment of Holly Meyer to Arkansas's 16th Judicial District, 2nd Division Circuit Court.

Governor Hutchinson issued the following statement on Holly Meyer:

"I am pleased to announce the appointment of Holly Meyer to the 16th Judicial District, 2nd Division Circuit Court. Her knowledge of Arkansas law is evident and her experience is invaluable. I have no doubt Holly will do a fine job for the district, its people and our state, as a whole."

Holly Meyer is currently the Chief Deputy Prosecutor in Cleburne County. Previously, Meyer has held the position of Chief Counsel to the State of Arkansas Department of Human Services and has traveled the country teaching cross examination techniques for the National College of District Attorneys. She has been practicing law since 1989 and possesses extensive experience in various fields of law. She has been awarded many accolades from her peers and has completed several leadership programs. Meyer is a graduate of Hendrix College and the University of Arkansas William H. Bowen School of Law.

Meyer will assume the judgeship of the Honorable John Adam Harkey, who resigned over health reasons.
