Rep. Ellison Statement on Escalating Violence in Jerusalem

Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) released the following statement today after four Israelis were killed in a terror attack in East Jerusalem.

"I am horrified and appalled by the attack at Kehilat Bnei Torah Synagogue this morning. Four Israelis, three of whom were American citizens, were brutally killed while praying. My heart aches for the victims and their families and I wish a quick and full recovery to those injured in the attack. The escalating cycle of violence in Jerusalem has already taken too many lives, both Israeli and Palestinian. It must end.

"Israelis and Palestinians pray for calm in the home they share. We must not allow a violent few to ruin the cause of peace for all. Now more than ever Israeli and Palestinian leaders must do all they can to quell tensions in the City of Peace."
