NY CD-2: Patricia Maher, Peter King Scheduled To Debate At Brentwood Public Library

On Tuesday October 28 at 7 PM, the Brentwood Public Library will host a debate between Patricia Maher, Democratic candidate for Congress, and her opponent, Congressman Peter King.

The library is located at 34 Second Street in Brentwood. The debate is being sponsored by the Eastern Shore Chapter of The Links Incorporated and the National Coalition of 100 Black Woman-Suffolk County Chapter.

The two candidates will debate a number of local and national pressing issues, including jobs and the economy, Social Security and Medicare, immigration, Hurricane Sandy relief, and foreign policy.

"I am looking forward for the opportunity to debate and answer the concerns of the voters. The voters have a right to know where each of us stands on the issues and deserve to have this debate," said Maher.
