U.S. Senate candidate Tom Cotton today announced the formation of "Democrats for Cotton," a new statewide coalition of Democrats supporting his candidacy. A group of current and former elected officials and prominent Arkansas Democrats will serve on the steering committee leading the coalition's efforts across Arkansas. Members of the steering committee include:

Roy John McNatt, Former Miller County Judge
Mr. Porter Briggs, Longtime Democratic donor and fundraiser; Former supporter of both David and Mark Pryor
Tom Taylor, Former Cleveland County Judge
Jerry Taylor, former State Senator representing Jefferson County
Brandi Rolen-Stockdale, Yell County Treasurer
Bob Mathis, Former State Representative from Garland County and former Mayor of Hot Springs
Del Robinson, Former Saline County Judge
Tommy Mitchum, Former State Representative representing Independence County
Mr. Hammond Satterfield, Retired IBM manager, longtime Democrat
Bob Blankenship, Former Faulkner County Sherriff
"Arkansas is full of conservative Democrats who are pro-life and pro-2nd Amendment," said Tom Cotton. "But they, like so many Arkansans, realize the hard left policies of President Obama and Washington Democrats don't align with Arkansas values. Arkansans deserve a leader who will do what's best for Arkansas and isn'r afraid to stand up to either party in Washington."

Porter Briggs, a longtime Democratic donor and former supporter of Mark Pryor, said: "I know Senator Pryor, and I think he's a good man. But this election is about who will be the best leader for Arkansas, and I know Tom Cotton is that person. Tom served his country with distinction in the Army, and I know he'll do the same in the U.S. Senate."

Bob Blankenship, former Faulkner County Sheriff said, "Washington is full of people who simply toe the party line. Arkansans can count on Tom Cotton to work to balance our budget and help keep America safe. He's one Republican I'm proud to support."
