Universal health coverage is an excellent goal, something we all agree on. Our goal should be to ensure everyone has access to quality, affordable health care.

Massachusetts acted responsibly to extend health insurance to all its citizens -- without raising taxes and without cutting Medicare. But Obamacare changed all that. From a broken website to broken promises about keeping our healthcare if we like it, Obamacare has been a disaster. Obamacare gave us 20 new or higher taxes on individuals and businesses. I believe that states should design their own health care programs, just as we did here in Massachusetts.
