Here's the Truth

President Obama and Michelle Nunn would like you to think that their liberal plans are good for our economy, but the truth is millions of Americans are still struggling. Their Washington-based economic policies and runaway spending have held back our nation's economic recovery.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics recently released jobs numbers from August, and the results are grim: a mere 142,000 jobs were created last month, and around 60,000 people dropped out of the labor force, resulting in a labor force participation rate (the amount of working-age Americans employed or looking for a job) of 62.8 percent- its lowest rate since Jimmy Carter was President.

Fewer Americans are working or even looking for a job since 1978, yet liberals in Washington continue to ignore growing the economy and continue to their reckless spending.

Traveling across the state, I have spoken with countless Georgians who are concerned about the economic direction of our nation. It's disappointing that we have to tell our kids and grandkids that they will not be better off than the previous generation.

Barack Obama has not taken the right steps to get our country back on track, and he knows in order to continue his liberal agenda, he needs Michelle Nunn. Together, they would be able to institute burdensome regulations, double-down on Obamacare, and avoid taking on the tough issues.

Georgians deserve a Senator who will fight every day to grow our economy and create jobs. Only then will we be able to confidently tell the next generation that they are inheriting a strong nation.
