House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) released the following reaction to President Obama's Address on ISIL.

"Tonight we heard the president address the actions he intends to take to confront ISIL and the threat they pose to our nation.

I have been concerned about the threat that ISIL poses to America's national security for some time now, and look forward to discussing with my colleagues in the House the best plan of action to address this serious terrorist threat."
