"Turner works for seniors interests"

Congressman Turner has come out strongly in support of preserving the nation's Social Security system and against proposals to privatize Social Security. He worked to pass Medicare Part D, which creates a voluntary prescription drug benefit for senior citizens and ensures access to more affordable prescription drugs. Additionally, he supported the Medicare Advantage program, which gives seniors the ability to choose their physician under the Medicare systems. Mike will continue to protect social security and Medicare and work in the best interests of seniors.
